Dental Implants are used to replace missing teeth. They're a long-term solution that is imbedded in your jawbone, just like your natural teeth. Plus, unlike fixed bridges or removable dentures, dental implants will not affect neighboring healthy teeth or lead to bone loss in the jaw. If properly cared for, dental implants can last a lifetime.
In certain cases, wisdom teeth- also known as third molars- should be removed. These cases, along with other oral surgery procedures, can be perfromed under a variety of anesthesia techniques. Dr. Coppelson is extensively trained to safely provide local anesthesia, all forms of sedation and general anesthesia.
Once TMJ disorders are correctly diagnosed, treatment may range from conservative dental and medical care to complex surgery. Depending on the diagnosis, treatment may include botox injections, short-term drugs for pain and muscle relaxation, bite or plint therapy, and even stress management counseling. Surgery can involve either arthroscopy or repair of damage tissue by a direct surgical approach.
Bone grafts and sinus lifts are treatments used to provide a solid and strong platform to which a dental implant can be placed. These short procedues may utilize bone obtained from an animal, donor tissues, or from elsewhere on your own body to rebuild bone in the upper and lower jaw bones.

"I came to see Dr. Coppelson to remove my wisdom teeth which were causing me some pain/discomfort and my dentist recommended I get then removed ASAP. Dr. Coppelson met with me, thoroughly went over my medical history and CT scan, answered all my questions, and calmed my nerves.
On the day of the procedure, Dr. Coppelson made me feel safe and supported. He has incredible bedside manner and he is so knowledgeable and attentive. The procedure was seamless and went by so fast. I barely needed any pain medication and felt amazing soon after the procedure! Everything healed perfectly and he made himself available for any follow-up questions I had."
"I'm so pleased with the results of my surgery. I'm breathing better and my anxiety has decreased. A LOT! I've lost a noticeable amount of weight and my body feels so much happier. It's been nice to get out and start getting active again. Everything feels more manageable now."
"I had a procedure done with Dr. Coppelson a few months ago and it was by far the best care I've ever had the privilege of receiving from a doctor. Not only was he extremely attentive and knowledgeable, but for someone like myself who's never undergone a procedure before, Dr. Coppelson made me feel comfortable and prepared from start to finish. Not to mention, the procedure went by in a flash! I was back at home recovering before i even realized that it was over!
I had absolutely no issues with the surgery itself nor the recovery. It was quick, easy and PAINLESS. When i think back to my surgery date, I only have fond memories of Dr. Coppelson's kind-hearted personality and overall impeccable care."
